Is this Jute?
No, Earthy Hues products are made of Banana Fibre fabric, a natural fiber that is hand-loomed by the artisans on traditional looms. Jute is also a natural fabric like banana fibre but it is woven using machines.
I do not know what banana fiber is. Can you help?
Banana Fibre is a natural fiber that is strong, biodegradable, and sustainable. It is one of the best alternatives available. Please read our blog to know more about Banana Fibre and the process of making Banana Fibre.
Do you customize products?
We make customized window blinds, table runners, wall panels, etc. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss this further.
My Banana Fibre product got wet! What do I do?
No problem at all!!! Just air dry the product in shade and you are good to go. Air drying the product completely before storing will ensure that your product will not attract fungus. Never wring or scrub the product. You can spot clean the products with a damp cloth.
How do I wash my banana fiber cushion covers and table mats?
Banana Fibre is a natural fiber and products made out of natural fibers are not meant to be washed regularly. The reason is that natural fibers including banana fiber do not collect dust and even if they do, they can be shaken off or dry vacuumed. Having said that, we understand that at times washing is required when there are spills.
Cushion covers - You can handwash the cushion covers and dry them in shade. Please lay them flat to dry, and do not hang them on the clothesline. Please dry wash the cushion cover if the fabric used along with banana fiber is pure silk.
Table Mats and Runners - You can wipe them with a damp cloth, to clean them daily. Once in two weeks, you can wash them under running water and lay them flat to dry. Please do not hang them on the clothesline. It is always best to dry banana fiber products in shade. You can spot clean immediately with water if you spill gravy on the table mats/runners.
*Allow the product to completely dry before storing/using
*Once dry, store flat/fold/roll
*Never wring or scrub the product

Sorry, we do not ship internationally currently. But we are doing our best to cater to our international customers also.

Do you have COD (Cash on Delivery)?
Sorry, due to the Covid-19 situation, we have withdrawn COD facility.
